Terms of Service
Last updated 22 April 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Roster, a web app operated by GetRoster Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17179578 with registered office at 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX (“Roster”, “we”, “us”).
1. Welcome to Roster
Roster helps grassroots football clubs manage members, schedules, communications, and payments. By creating an account or using Roster (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Roster.
2. Who can use Roster
You may use Roster if you are 18 or older. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must sign up on your behalf, or agree to your use of Roster and take responsibility for your account. Roster is designed for use by grassroots football clubs, coaches, admins, parents, guardians, and players.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity on your account. Let us know immediately if you believe someone else is using your account without your permission. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Payments
Roster processes payments through Stripe on behalf of clubs collecting fees or subscriptions. Roster is not a party to those payments — the club is the payee, you are the payer. Refunds are handled by the club, not by Roster. Roster may take a service fee on each transaction; if so, the fee is displayed at the point of payment.
5. Content and communication
You retain ownership of content you post to Roster (messages, posts, RSVPs). By posting, you grant Roster a licence to display, store, and back it up so the Service can work. You must not post anything unlawful, abusive, misleading, or that violates someone else's rights. Coaches and club admins may moderate or remove content within their clubs.
6. Safeguarding
Roster is used by young people. Everyone must comply with their club's safeguarding policies and applicable FA and UEFA guidance where relevant. If you have a safeguarding concern, contact your club's safeguarding lead. Roster may take action, including removing accounts, in response to safeguarding concerns.
7. Beta service
Roster is currently in beta. Features may change, break, or be removed. We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uptime or data preservation during the beta period. We will give reasonable notice before major changes that affect your data.
8. Our liability
To the extent permitted by law, Roster's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the fees you paid to Roster in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be excluded under UK law.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via the app. Continued use after the change means you accept the new Terms.
10. Ending your account
You may close your Roster account at any time from within the app or by emailing [email protected]. We may close your account if you breach these Terms. On closure, your personal data is handled per our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
